About Us
Vishwa Guru Mahaguru
The vision of Gurudeva should spread all over the world…
The main aim of SNDS (Sri Narayana Guru Dharma Seva Sangham) is to become a new beacon on the path of renaissance
Dear ones,
The working objective of SNDS (Sri Narayana Guru Dharma Seva Sangham) is to become a new beacon on the path of Kerala's revival. SNDS is a prominent Sri Narayana movement in Kerala based in Kozhikode.
The ultimate goal of SNDS is to use the messages and teachings of The Guru for the good of humankind.
Another aim of this Trust is to purify the human minds which get polluted with inauspicious thoughts like envy, pride, intolerance, enmity, irrational thinking, egoism, etc. with the help of Gurudeva's teachings every day.
Sri Narayana Gurudeva is the spiritual sun of the world. That effect still continues to shed light on the world even today. SNDS selflessly maintains the spiritual campaign of converting Gurudeva's visions into prayer mantras of Kerala,
India and even the world. We also chant The Guru's mantra of unity, "One caste, one religion, one God for man" with a sincere heart.
Guru who advised us to become enlightened with knowledge. Guru who reminded us about cleanliness. Mahaguru who exhorted us that humans are one. That's why
Caste-religion-party politics etc and narrow-minded and selfish activities have no place in SNDS. The very purpose of this Trust is to help the needy and less privileged.
The spiritual lesson that SNDS puts forward is to know, bow down to, respect The Guru, inculcate the visions of The Guru in life, and walk through that good service - to be able to live on earth as good and new people. We also highly respect
those who respectfully believe in Guru, Guruvayurappan (Lord Krishna), Jesus Christ, Prophet Muhammad, Buddha and Swami Vivekananda. Those who have stood as light to mankind, who have stood as strength, who have stood as devotion and faith,
who are worshiped by millions of people - the world would always look upon and take these great names only with respect. SNDS will always work respecting these great personalities.
We aim to move forward by upholding values such as love, kindness, compassion, service, and so on along with the Guru’s name.
Even if the sea dries up, the sea of compassion in the human hearts should never dry up.
Let us share love as deep as the sea and march forward…with people like Guru as our guides; as our beacons.
Take a look at a few lines from the Daiva Dasakam Gurudeva Kirtan (Ten Verses To God: The Universal Prayer)…the prayer song dedicated by Gurudeva to the whole world.
“ദൈവമേ! കാത്തുകൊള്കങ്ങു
കൈവിടാതിങ്ങു ഞങ്ങളേ;
Meaning:
“O, God! We pray to you. Kindly protect us here in this world; do not desert us even for a moment. Let us cling on to your hand (as children do to their father’s hands). To life, which is like an ocean full of perils, you are the guiding Navigator.
And Your feet (words) are the most dependable steamship in which we will be able to safely sail across this ocean and reach our final destination (which is God Himself) in this life.
If we count out every object, finally nothing will be left to be counted except the one who counts or sees. Even then, gradually keep counting out the components which constitute him, (both physically and spiritually ), then what is left is the Ultimate; God. And hence, my mind should get fixed in Your thoughts and remain unwavering there. (Everything else can be discarded or separated.)
You who give us food, clothing and all other essential items for our survival regularly, without any break and protect us; keep us contented and spiritually elevated, You alone are therefore our Supreme Lord!”
With that, let us get involved in Gurudharma activities…
